2022 North Florida Family Fun Day

Advocates for Children and Families (ACF) is a non-profit organization, licensed to provide adoption services by the Florida Department of Children and Families. ACF has been providing programs and services focused on the well-being of children and families since 1992. Our North Florida Family Fun Day is held during National Adoption Awareness Month. This special event is a time for families to gather together, share a meal, connect, support ACF’s mission, and have FUN. 

The price of your ticket includes lunch, small animal encounters and admission to the Jacksonville Zoo and Gardens The Shaba Terrace, where lunch is served, is an open air covered terrace. 10:00 AM – 11:00 AM – Check-In at Zoo Gates.  Guests are welcome to explore the Zoo. 11:00 AM – Shaba Terrace Opens. Join us in the Shaba Terrace for Small Animal Encounters, Face Painting, Crafts, and Family Fun. 11:15 AM – Words of Welcome and Agency Impact Update. 11:30 AM – Lunch Buffet Opens. 1:00 PM – Shaba Terrace Closes. Guests are welcome to explore the Zoo until it closes at 5:00 PM.
